Chiomenti welcomes the opportunity to contribute to the public consultation on the draft Circular Letter published by the Italian Revenue Agency concerning trusts’ direct and indirect taxation in Italy. The comments and suggestions included in the submission were made within the context of the Firm’s extensive experience with respect to taxation of trusts.

Chiomenti is very interested in continuing its active dialogue with the public authorities and highly values the opportunity to reflect on how the Italian taxation system for trusts operates as well as on how it might be clarified, strengthened or improved.
