The Council of State – Fourth Section (Consiglio di Stato) rendered its judgment no. 289, published on 9 January 2023, in which it rejected the appeal of Psp Verisem Luxemburg Holding S.à.r.l. against the judgement of the Regional Administrative Court of Lazio (Tribunale Amministrativo Regionale, hereinafter also only T.A.R.) of 13 April 2022 no. 4486, which had ruled on the exercise of veto power by the Government with reference to an acquisition in the food sector.
