After the introduction of the Investment Management Exemption (IME) in the 2023 Italian Budget Law, on 28 February 2024 the Italian Tax Authority released the transfer pricing guidelines to determine the arm’s length nature of the remuneration received by the asset manager operating in Italy. The final release of the IME TP Guidelines follows a public consultation, where stakeholders provided their feedback on the previous draft of the IME TP Guidelines.
