Introduction
The professionals of the Public Law, Regulatory and Authorities Practice Area have built up experience over decades in assisting public and private clients, both Italian and foreign, in the field of public procurement for works, services and supplies, general contractor assignments, works and services concessions, public-private partnerships (PPP), public enterprises, infrastructure and energy projects, transportation, energy, telecommunications, urban planning regulations, environment, and public services.

 

The professional experience gained in market regulation and competition issues, as well as in assisting clients in their relationships with independent administrative authorities (AGCM, AGCOM, Bank of Italy, Consob, ART, ANAC, ARERA), particularly in the telecommunications, electricity, gas, water service, postal service, and local public services sectors, is particularly extensive.

 

The scope of expertise and experience covers public and private healthcare, as well as regulatory issues related to the pharmaceutical and medical devices market.

 

With regard to environmental law, the professionals of the Firm are particularly active in giving judicial and extrajudicial assistance to industrial clients, both national and foreign, and for the construction of infrastructure and plants that require the resolution of complex issues related to characterization and reclamation activities. The Firm also operates in the field of urban planning law, assisting leading national and foreign operators for many years regarding greenfield or brownfield real estate transactions, urban regeneration, and/or matters related to digitalization (smart-cities).

 

The scope of our operation extends to sports law, administrative law profiles related to the public finance sector, including public contributions to real estate funds, concession of public domain assets, concessions related to the operation of legal games, and more generally to all economic relationships influenced by public regulation of the economy.

 

The Practice Area’s professionals operate through a multidisciplinary and integrated approach with the different skills and expertise within the firm as required, in order to provide the best possible assistance to clients, many of them abroad, in relation to complex and articulated transactions characterized by regulatory aspects.
