Data Protection and Cybersecurity

Introduction
The Data Protection and Cybersecurity Practice Area deals with all legal issues arising from the application of regulations on personal data protection and cybersecurity. It also supports clients in implementing data governance processes related to recent and upcoming regulatory interventions, such as the Digital Operational Resilience Act, the NIS2 Directive, and the regulation of artificial intelligence.

Not only is the team able to offer support from a regulatory compliance perspective but it can also contribute to the development of innovative, tailor-made solutions aimed at protecting data and information systems as strategic assets for organizations, also from an ESG perspective and for reputational protection.

The Practice Area, therefore, regards its activity as a cornerstone of corporate governance that, in an increasingly technology-dependent world, contributes to the growth of companies or the consolidation of their position in the market.

Furthermore, it contributes to the management and notification of computer incidents, offering its support, defining the strategic approach and carrying out the numerous obligations that become necessary as a result of such events, including the structuring of remedial plans.
