Debtwire’s FY18 Europe Advisory Mandate Report, published on April 2019, recorded 222 mandates of companies that are either undergoing restructuring or require assistance in financial distress. The field breaks down to 89 legal counsel hires and 133 financial advisor appointments. The report covers 86 companies, of which 63 are involved in out-of-court situations and 23 in in-court restructurings.
