Chiomenti: Two new Partners, one Of-Counsel and five new Counsels for the Firm

Chiomenti, during the last Partners' Meeting, resolved to appoint 2 new partners: Federico Amoroso, from the Listed companies, corporate governance and capital markets department and Luca Ferrari from the Litigation department.

Paolo Fedele was promoted to Of Counsel. Paolo's appointment is part of the growing strengthening of the Real Estate Business Unit, of which Paolo is a leading figure.

Five new Counsels were also appointed: Giovanni Filippo Pezzulo (Listed companies, corporate governance and capital markets), Gabriele Buratti (Financial Regulation), Emilio Cucchiara (Antitrust), Sergio Scanu (Corporate – China Desk at Honk Kong and Beijing offices), Antonino Guida (Tax and Tax Planning)

The appointments continue in the enhancement of the talents present within the Firm.

Federico Amoroso joined the Firm in 2012 and he deals with financial market advising leading corporate clients and investment banks with a focus on equity capital markets transactions, as well as corporate finance and public M&A.

Luca Ferrari joined the Firm in 2010 and regularly advises Italian and international clients in civil, commercial, finance, and corporate litigation both in court and in arbitration.

Paolo Fedele joined the Firm in 2005 and advises Italian and international clients on Corporate - M&A and real estate matters with a focus on the sale and purchase of real estate, companies, real estate portfolios, real estate asset management, real estate collective investment fund transactions, lease agreements, procurements, and business leases.

Giovanni Filippo Pezzulo joined the Firm in 2005 and regularly advises Italian and international clients (issuers, financial institutions, financial advisors) on national and cross-border transactions of equity capital markets (IPO, public purchase and exchange offers, capital increases, private placements) and public M&A.

Gabriele Buratti joined the Firm in 2014 and he deals with banking, finance, investment, insurance, and collective asset management regulation, as well as compliance and anti-money laundering matters. He also focuses on extraordinary transactions for regulated companies, with a focus on the banking, finance, and securities sector, including regulatory matters.

Emilio Cucchiara joined the Firm in 2007 and advises leading Italian and multinational companies on national and EU competition law, and on high profile matters before the Italian Competition Authority and the European Commission. He has also significant experience in matters related to state aid.

Sergio Scanu joined the Firm in 2008 and regularly advises Italian and Chinese clients on cross-border Corporate - M&A transactions. He is also an expert in international commercial contracts.

Antonino Guida joined the Firm in 2008 and deals with tax law with a focus on business tax, financial intermediary tax, extraordinary transactions, financial instruments, and international tax planning.
