On March 20, 2025, the Senate approved in the first reading the Italian Bill on Artificial Intelligence (the “DDL”), which will integrate the Italian legislation also regarding to copyright law, in compliance with the well-known “AI Act” (Regulation (EU) 2024/1689). The DDL now moves to the examination by the Chamber of Deputies.
