Newsletter - Italian guidelines and policy recommendations on big data
The Italian Competition Authority, the Italian Telecommunication Authority and the Italian Data Protection Authority have published a set of guidelines and policy recommendations on big data and, more generally, on the digital sector. The document, anticipating the outcomes of the sector inquiry jointly launched by the three Authorities, provides a description of the Authorities’ future lines of action in digital markets, as well as a series of recommendations with a view to adapt the existing legislative framework to be ready to face the challenges posed by big data and online platforms.
