Carola advises Italian and international clients in project development and acquisition in the energy and infrastructure fields, with a focus on renewable energy (wind, biomass -including WtE-, biofuel, photovoltaic, geothermal, solar heat, hydroelectric), energy from conventional sources (oil and gas), infrastructure and public tenders on energy and gas transport and distribution, infrastructure concessions and contracts, acquisition, and leveraged finance, with a particular focus on green financing and general ESG issues.
Carola has been ranked as a leading lawyer by the most relevant international legal guides such as Chambers, IFLR 1000 and Legal 500. She was awarded "Best in Energy, Natural Resources and Mining" at the European Women in Business Law Awards 2020 and "Lawyer of the year - Finance" at Legalcommunity Energy Awards 2023, 2022, 2020, 2019 and 2018 and recognized as one of the 50 most inspiring women in the legal sector in Italy at the Legalcommunity Inspiralaw Awards 2023.
