ENNIO ALAGIA

Ennio represents in-court and advises out-of-court key Italian and non-Italian clients, both individuals and corporations, in all the major fields of white-collar and corporate crime, with a particular focus on market abuse, corporate frauds, bankruptcy frauds, tax crimes, as well as national and international corruption. Dual-qualified lawyer and chartered accountant, Ennio gained a solid professional experience having contributed in the assistance in several high-profile matters, both with national and transnational relevance, related to business and corporate crime. He likewise counsels on an ongoing basis relevant corporate entities and groups in drafting and updating the organizational and managerial models under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, in giving legal advices and support to the Surveillance Committees, in structuring the anticorruption and the international sanctions compliance systems, and in conducting defensive or internal investigations.

Ennio Alagia joined the Firm in 2017 and became a Managing Associate in 2023.

ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES

Since 2012 he is Research Assistant in Business and Corporate Criminal Law at the Catholic University of Milan, Member of the Research Group of the Alta Scuola "Federico Stella" on Criminal Justice (ASGP) and he is Tutor and co-responsible for the didactical organisation of the Master di secondo livello in “Diritto Penale dell’Impresa” (Executive Master in Business and Corporate Criminal Law, taught in Italian). Since 2018, he is Adjunct Professor at Catholic University of Milan, where he teaches the course “Privacy & Security” focusing the attention on the intersections between criminal law and technological innovation.
